الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

The Honorable Shaykh ?Ubayd al-Jaabiree said:
quote:
And know that all of the modern-day jamaa?aat of da?wah, which are all misguided ? irrespective of whether they are Tableeghiyyah, or Ikhwaaniyyah, or Qutubiyyah, or Surooriyyah, or other than them ? then indeed, from their foundations is the renouncement of Sharee?ah knowledge and its people. So beware, O youths of Islaam!
Taken from the ?Ways of Ikhwaan? lecture posted and transcribed elsewhere on SalafiTalk. What follows are two scholarly, eyewitness accounts of this utter reality as it applies to Jamaa?at ut-Tableegh and their hatred of knowledge and its people.

The Noble Muhaddith and Shaykh Hammaad al-Ansaaree (d. 1418)
Speaking about Jamaa?at ut-Tableegh, the Shaykh, may Allaah have mercy on him, said:
quote:
I once entered into Masjid an-Nabawee and saw a large jamaa?ah beneath the large clock ? so I asked one of them: ?Who are those??

So he said: ?They are Jamaa?at ut-Tableegh.?

So I said: ?What do they convey??

So he said: ?They convey da?wah in this Arab land.?

So I said to him: ?Did they convey [da?wah] to the Sikhs and Buddhists (i.e. before coming to this land to perform da?wah)??

Then I said: ?Indeed, that jamaa?ah does not desire knowledge, nor do they seek it. So with this path [of da?wah], they corrupt more than they rectify.?

And Jamaa?at ut-Tableegh, I know them well. In ?aqeedah, they are Maatureediyyah, Jishtiyyah, and in their madhhab, bigoted Hanafees. And once, I had a lecture in a masjid in the outskirts of  al-Madeenah il-Munawwarrah, so when I began to conduct the lecture ? there was in the masjid a jamaa?ah from the Tableegh, they all went out [of the masjid] at the beginning of the lecture.
From "al-Majmoo? fee Tarjumat il-?Allaamat il-Muhaddith ash-Shaykh Hammaad Bin Muhammad al-Ansaaree" p. 587. [NOTE: This is not my reference - rather, it is originally from a thread on sahab which I copied and pasted to a word document. Seeing it to be of benefit for the Muslims, I later translated it and and posted it here. I will search for the original post and post the link here for reference in shaa' Allaah.]

The Noble Shaykh Saalih Bin Fawzaan al-Fawzaan
In a well-known recorded conversation, a student of knowledge mentioned to the Shaykh how Jamaa?at ut-Tableegh actively reject the da?wah to Tawheed. So the Shaykh responded:
quote:
I have witnessed this myself. I conducted a lecture on Tawheed in some of the masaajid in Riyaadh, and they (the Tableegh) were gathered in the masjid, so they went out of the masjid [upon hearing the lecture]. And others like me as well ? some of the Scholars gave a lecture in this masjid on Tawheed, so they went out of the masjid. Because they were coming into it, so when they heard the da?wah to Tawheed, they went out of the masjid, along with [the fact that] they were [originally] calling for a gathering in the masjid. Yet, when they heard Tawheed, they went out of the masjid.
This recorded conversation is available on the same tape containing the story of Shaykh Rabee' and his visit to the headquarters of Tableegh. It is also available as a separate file somewhere on Sahab, I will search for the link and post it here in due time, in shaa? Allaah.

-Bismillahir RaHmaanir RaHeem-

Barakallahu feek for this beneficial post regarding this misguided jamaa'at that misguides other people.

quote:

Did they convey [da?wah] to the Sheikhs  and Buddhists (i.e. before coming to this land to perform da?wah)??

Do you know if Sheikh al-Ansaaree(rahimahullah) actually said "Did they convey to the Sikhs  and Buddhists?"   Referring to the baatil Sikh religion founded in 15th century India upon the ideas of "Hulool" i.e Divine indwelling.

Jezekallahu khair

Yes, that is what I intended to write, but I apparently didn't spell it correctly. Jazaak Allaahu Khayrun.
