Assalamu alaykum I came accross this name recently and wasnt sure who he was so is anyone able to tell me more about him and if its safe to take knowledge from him? anything good was from allah. it is possible that you are talking about Suliman Gani, the imam at tooting/balham mosque? he is a involved in the misguided group Wifaqul Ulema and is deobandi. i hope that helps.
