That which distinguishes the people of truth from the people of falsehood is that they have a very clear distinct methodology that is derived from the Book and the Sunnah and the understanding and practice of the Companions and Righteous Salaf.
Further, innovation and its people, all of whom claim da'wah, rectification, and correcting the Ummah, do so upon innovated and alien methodologies which pay lip-service to the true rectification of the people (in their beliefs, methodologies and worship) and returning them to the pure, clear religion, as it was revealed. Instead, they simply focus on amassing numbers, seeking to win members, recruits and initiates for the objectives of their own parties and groups. This disease is a 20th century phenomenon when al-Ikhwan al-Muslimoon, its figureheads and ideologies became the root and source of most of the destructive, partisan, innovated calls, methodologies, groups and parties, which has only caused further divisions and strife amongst the Muslims.
This in turn led to confusion in many of the affairs of methodology such as what pertains to rectification of the Ummah, rulership and the rulers, the innovators and their books, loyalty and disownment, takfir, groups and parties and so on. This website, therefore, is dedicated to clarifying the methodologies of the Righteous Salaf, Ahl us-Sunnah wal-Jamaa'ah, Ahl ul-Hadeeth wal-Athar (all synonymous terms).
