Perhaps one of the students of knowledge can assist. In the meantime, inshaAllaah this will be beneficial:
Aa`mir ibn Deenaar (rahimahullaah) said:
|"I have met the people during seventy years, all of them saying, 'Allaah is the Creator and everything other than Him is created - except the Qur'an. For it is certainly the Speech of Allaah, not created. From Him, it began, and to Him it will return.'"|
- as-Sunan al-Kubraa by al-Bayhaqee (10/43, 205) and at-Tamheed by Ibn 'Abdul-Barr (24/186)
Explanation of the above statement by Shaikh al-'Uthaimeen (rahimahullaah), found in Explanation of Summary of al-'Aqeedatul-Hamawiyyah of Ibn Taymiyyah, explained by Imaam Muhammad ibn Saalih al-'Uthaimeen:
The meaning of "From Him it began" is that Allaah originally spoke with it (the Qur`an). It is also a refutation of the Jahmiyyah who say that He created it in someone other than Himself.
As for the statement, "and to Him, it will return," it could have two meanings:
Firstly: The attribute of speaking with the Qur'an returns to Himself, meaning that no one is described as speaking with it other than Allaah because He is the original One Who spoke with it, and speech is an attribute of the speaker Himself.
Secondly: It (the Qur`an) will be raised up to Allaah ('azza wajall) as it is reported in some narrations that He will erase it from the books and hearts in one night. That will happen - and Allaah knows best - when the people totally and completely abandon acting according to the Qur'an. So it will be raised up from them as a form of honoring it. Allaah is the One we seek help from.
The following is from Shaykh al Fawzaan's comments in his explanation of al Usool uth Thalaathah:
Allaah says (what means):
Indeed your Lord is Allaah, Who created the heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He Istawaa (rose over) the Throne (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His Command. Surely, His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed be Allaah, the Lord of the 'Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! (Al-A'raf 7:54)
Shaykh al Fawzaan commented:
|"The aayah (Soorah Al-A'raaf, ayah 54) therefore proves the difference between creating and commanding, and it contains a refutation of those who say that the Qur`an is created, because the Qur`an is from the command, and Allaah's command is not a created thing. |
"This was what Imaam Ahmad used to overcome the Jahmiyyah in argument when they requested from him that he say that the Qur'an was something created.
"So he said, 'Is the Qur`an from the creation or from the command?'
They said, 'The Qur`an is from the command.'
He said, 'The command is different to the created thing. Allaah made a distinction between it and between the creation. So He made the creation one thing and the command something else.'"

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
