assalaamu alaykum, can one of the taalibul 'ilm check if this hadeeth is saheeh: imam ahmad has narrated from aboo musa, who said that the prophet ( ) said: "Allaah has created Adam from a handful (soil) which He had gathered from all over the earth. That is how the children of Adam came according to the (colour and nature of the) earth. There are white among them, as well as red and black, and cross colours. Wa alaikum as sallam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu Sheikh Al-Albani (rahimahullah) declares the hadeeth authentic in Saheeh Al-Jaami' As-Sagheer wa-Ziyadatuhu (No. 1759) as well as in Silsalatul-Ahaadeeth-as-Saheehah (No. 1630). Abu Yusuf وكل خير في إتباع مى سلف وكل شر في إبتداع من خلف

jazakaAllaahu khairan katheera brother just another question: since shaykh al albaani( ) was amongst the greatest of muhadeethoon of our time, who are the muhadeeth now? and is it o.k to accept a checking declared to be da'eef done by a taalibul 'ilm? You will find the hadeeth in abu Daawud. أبو سلمان النمري طلحة بن وليم والعصر ان الانسان لفي خسر الا الذين آمنواو عملوا الصالحات و تواصوا بالحق و تواصوا بالصبر
