Hadith Qudsy: Allaah's uncreated Words

quote:
Question: Are the Hadith Qudsy (Revelation from Allaah in the Prophet's words) not created for being the Words of Allaah?

Answer: Yes, the Hadith Qudsy are Allaah's Words that are not created, they are similar to the Qur`an such as Allaah's Saying (Glorified and Exalted be He) in respect of what the Prophet (peace be upon him) narrated from Him (Glorified be He): O My slaves, I have forbidden Dhulm (injustice) to Myself and made it forbidden amongst you, so do not wrong one another. O My slaves all of you are misguided except those whom I guide, so ask Me for guidance, and I will guide you.

In addition to other authentic Hadith Qudsy which are all the Words of Allah.

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.

The Correct Belief Regarding Hadeeth Qudsi
All of these sects:

- The Jahmiyyah Al-Jaıdiyyah - The Muıtazilah Az-Zaidiyyah - The Karaamiyyah As-Sijistaaniyyah

They all say concerning the Hadeeth al-Qudsi that its wording is from the Prophet (Sallalaahu alaihi wa sallam) and its meaning is from Allaah The Mighty and Majestic, and this is also their saying with regards to the Qurıaan. Yet no one from amongst the Salaf said this, rather what the Salaf were upon was that the Hadeeth al-Qudsi is the speech of Allaah The Mighty and Majestic, so the Prophet (Sallaallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) would say: ıAllaah saysıı and this is a reality which does not have an aversion for it, therefore it is to be said: that the Hadeeth al-Qudsi is the speech of Allaah the Mighty and Majestic in wording and meaning.
