as-salaamu 'alaykum Does snybody know who Ahmad Dahir Awais is? Or why some indiviuals are claiming that he is a "Scholar" living in the West? Supposedly he was in the same PhD program as Shaykh Ubayd Al-Jaabiree (hafidahullaah) and "graduated higher than him", so the claim goes.
