As Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah. Anwar Al-Awlaki was an imam at an Ikwani Masjid in Northern Va. From what he is telling people, he is currently studying in Yemen, this is where his parents are from, although he was born in the states. I just ran a search on the internet and his name comes up with the likes of Sohaib Hasan, Ali Timimi and Jafar Idris at the JIMAS Conference more than once. And he's not camera shy either!

As-Salaamu AlaiKum, So in brief, is there a summary of what Anwar Al Awlaki is upon? I find on the internet that he has been released from prison a week ago (end of December 2007). Anyone know what he was in for? Wa-AlaiKum As-Salaam ----------------------------------
