He calls for shariah in the UK, he recently held a protest when the soliders returned from UK Narrated Anas bin Malik: The Prophet said, "Facilitate things to people (concerning religious matters), and do not make it hard for them and give them good tidings and do not make them run away (from Islam)."

I do not know the person mentioned; however, the scholars of the Sunnah have made it clear that street protests, demonstrations, and rallies, are not an Islamic means of rectifying the affairs of the people.

Walaykumus salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh, During graduate school, I wrote a research paper on the takfeeree movement in the UK which included a section on him. What the brothers have said here is true; he is, however, more dangerous in my opinion than the other khawaarij such as Omar Bakri or Abu Izzadeen. This is because Choudary is actually intelligent and well spoken; when you hear him speak, you know he has the ability to win people over if they don't understand the detail of issues regarding jihad and such. As for his being a judge, that is laughable. The man is upon some major sins in his personal life which have become a public issue in the UK, as he accepts a huge amount of money from the British government every month last I checked. Welfare money from the dole of the same government he curses. Stay far, far away from him.

As-Salaamu AlaiKum, Akhi, its the same old thing with these people. - Ikhwaan ul-Muslimeen (started in Egypt)... - some went on to become Hizb ut-Tahrir... - some split further (in the UK) into al-Muhajiroun [btw, unlike the REAL al-Muhajiroon, these particular people did hijra FROM Dar-us-Salaam TO Dar-ul-Kufr...(the opposite of the Muslims) so it shows their misguidance. And if they agrue that it was bad there, then By Allah, its worse (and evil) being here in a non-Muslim land]. - In the UK, this group split FURTHER into al-Ghurabaa - and The Saviours or The Saved Sect. (like as if calling yourself 'the saved sect' makes it so (without actually acting upon Islaam) does makes you it? Even if they don't fit the Characteristics mentioned in the Hadeeth? And then with Omar Bakri Fursuk and others out of the country, the powerful of the remaining body of the Mafia Gang was naturally led by Anjem Choudary... in places likes Cardiff TRICKING people to be 'Salafi'... but more recently with News Coverage as Islam 4 UK (named after the famous shop 'Phones 4 U' - i guess 'brainwashing' people with advertising works (which these people often tell the Muslims to 'Wake Up and keep away from Michael Jackson back-tracking and the modern-adverstising media, because it can influence you'... guess they got influenced by it themselves). And just to briefly mention to Anjum Choudary supporters who may be reading this post... With regards to Mr Choudary... he does talk about 'Freedom of Speech', and about 'his Democratic Rights' not being fulfilled. - So if you want the Sharia, then why ask for Democratic Rights? Even if the Kufaar dont give these 'so-called' rights to you, it shouldn't matter because i though we didn't want them (they are non-Islaamic). So this is a type of hypocrisy in what he says that he wants the Sharia (and no other Law), and at he same time you wants democracy and democratic-rights, freedom of speech, ahad hadeeth to be eliminated, punishment of the grave to disappear, a free council flat and unemployment and child benfit handouts from the Kufaar... and lying is not from the ways of the Muslims. In general, the actions of this Anjum Choudary do not benefit the Muslims in any sense, but they are very useful for restrictions on the Muslims, discrimination against them and so on. If we want the Law of Allah being implemented, then ACT in accordance to what Allah has commanded - (not just scream and shout about it in Hyde Park, and at the same time you not pray or act according to what Allah has Commanded) - It is from the plots of Shaytaan to keep the Muslim Ummah weak by trying to keep us away from Correctly Worshipping our Lord and doing what He has Commanded us. So don't fall into such a plot. So if anyone is listening to Anjum Choudhary and comes accross this post, then my advice to you is please study islaam and you will see the difference between what this man says, and what Islaam Commands us with. He might be a good speaker, but he doesn't have knowledge about islaam.

Anjem Choudary is a HardCore Takfiri.He makes Takfir of the Muslim Rulers. He even made Takfir of Sheikh Bin Baaz (RahimaHullah).(I personally heard him say that he believes that Sheikh Bin Baaz is a Kafir. (Wa'iyyadu'billah- We seek refuge in Allah). He is very Jaahil with regards to the Deen.
