Walaykumus salaam, Egypt has many people upon other than the Sunnah. It also has many Salafiyyoon if you know where to look, including some shuyookh and students of knowledge. Referring things to the people of knowledge is always your best bet on things like this. Shaykh Sa'eed Raslaan lives in Mounafia, if you are in Egypt you may want to ask him this question.
