As salaamu 'alaikum, Bismillaah walhamdulillaah was salaatu was salaam 'ala Rasulullaah, Amma ba'du, I wanted to recommend a thing if it is not already being done somewhere. This thing is a day set for those who know to teach those who do not know. The thing is Slaughtering in the manner of the Prophet Sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam and the companions Radhiyallaahu 'anhum. I myself attempted to do it by myself for my eldest and came to find out it was not correct, May Allaah accept it from me, Aameen! We've read and/or have been instructed(i.e. you do this and that),by some of our brothers who have slaughtered before, on how to do it but many have never been to a Slaughterhouse(when it is not busy and crowded) to see it done in accordance to the Sunnah. Just a thought. Well, I have to slaughter for my daughter and the time has been delayed so I would like to know if someone can help me, from NJ to Philly, where is the best Place to go and who is willing to teach?
