| Ash-Shaikh Rabee? Al-Madkhalee (hafithahullaah) Discusses the Proper Way to Call People to As-Salafiyyah |

| Question: How should calling the common people to As-Salafiyyah, the methodology of the Righteous Predecessors (As-Salaf us-Saalih), be done ? particularly when they have become attached to some callers of wickedness and evil. |

Answer: Allaah placed for us a methodology (Manhaj) for calling others to Him. Allaah said to His Prophet:
?Invite (mankind, O Muhammad) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islâm) with wisdom) and good preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better..? [An-Nahl:125]
The call to Allaah should be done with wisdom, and wisdom is knowledge, clarity, and proof. So invite (others) with knowledge, and with good character, and with gentleness and softness. This is to be done (in dealing) with the layman and other than the layman. However, the common layman is more likely to accept (the da?wah). And indeed he may even accept the truth from you without any argument at all. So if the person needs to be argued against, and he has with him something of resistance, and something of being attached to the falsehood, then argue with him using that which is best.
?The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allâh ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly), then verily he, whom there was enmity between you and him, (will become) as though he was a close friend. But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient, and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion.? [Fussilat:34-35]
So no one is given this wisdom except for a person who possesses a great portion (i.e. Allaah has truly favored such an individual).

السؤال: كيف تكون دعوة عوام الناس إلى السلفية ؛ منهج السلف الصالح ، خاصة وقد تعلقوا ببعض دعاة السوء والشر .
الـجــواب:
الله وضع لنا منهجاً للدعوة إلى إليه ، الله قال لنبيه :(ادْعُ إِلِى سَبِيلِ رَبِّكَ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَالْمَوْعِظَةِ الْحَسَنَةِ وَجَادِلْهُم بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ)(1) الدعوة إلى الله بالحكمة ، والحكمة هي العلم والبيان والحجة فتدعو بالعلم وبالأخلاق الطيبة وبالرفق واللين ، العامي وغير العامي ، لكن العامي أكثر تقبلاً ، وقد يقبل منك الحق بدون مجادلة ، فإن احتاج إلى مجادلة ، كان عنده شيء من المناعة ، شيء من التعلق بالباطل فجادله بالتي هي أحسن :(وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ * وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ ) (2) ، فما يعطى هذه الحكمة إلا ذو حظ عظيم .
