The following question was asked to Shaikh Ahmad Bazmool by way of a phone conversation from Masjid As-Salafis-Saalih on Sunday, October 13th. ____________________________________________ Question: The questioner says, "I want to travel to the Islaamic lands so I can study and learn my religion according to the correct methodology with the scholars. So my question is where do you advise me to go? May Allaah bless you. Answer of Shaikh Ahmad: The Salafee scholars are here in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, like Shaikh Abdul-'Azeez Aal Ash-Shaikh, Shaikh Saalih Al-Fawzaan, Shaikh Rabee' Al-Madkhalee, and Shaikh Ahmad An-Najmee. Also there is in Yemen there are Salafee scholars from the students of Shaikh Muqbil Al-Waadi'ee. But not the group of Abul-Hasan Al-Ma'ribee. This group is misguided. However, there are groups from the students of Shaikh Muqbil Al-Waadi'ee, and a man who is a khaleefah (successor) of Shaikh Muqbil there in Yemen. Maybe you can go to them and study with them. Also there are some Salafee scholars in Kuwait like a man whose name is Taariq As-Subay'ee. This man is a scholar ('Aalim), Salafee. However, if you go to a specific land, ask about that place, for example ask someone from here, specifically like Shaikh Rabee' Al-Madkhalee for example, about this specific land, and ask about its scholars. For verily we do not know of there being a great of number of Salafee scholars except in Saudiyyah (Saudi Arabia).
