Salamalaykum warahamtullah Yaa Ikhwaan, it grieved me to hear the shocking and sad news of the car crash that took place this morning near Madeenah, where 4 of our brothers from South London were involved. Sadly, Usama who was well known amongst many for his wing chung classes, died at the scene of the crash. إنا لله و إنا إليه راجعون He is certainly in need of our dua. Usama has left nine children mashallah, who have now been made orphans, so brothers and sisters should swiftly take to helping out in any way. Helping orphans and showing them love is an act of worship highly encouraged in the Quran and in the Sunnah. AllahulMustaan We pray that Allah the Most Merciful opens His doors of Mercy for Usama and all those who die in this blessed month. Mashallah he was fasting, was upon a journey, fulfilling an act of worship by travelling to Madeenah to visit the Prophet's ( ) masjid, intending to perform Umrah. All this in this noble month. Remember the Hadeeth Qudsee: "My servant cannot come closer to Me with something more beloved to Me than that what I have obligated upon him" Another brother is critically injured. His name is AbdurRaheem and he has serious head injuries. I implore all the brothers to make dua for him this evening and at every oppurtunity you can for his well-being. He is currently at King Fahd Hospital, Medinah. The other two brothers, are Alhamdulillah in a better condition, but I'm sure very shocked and hurt by the experience.
