Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaah. What is the ruling on "Sweepstakes" (random drawing from a lot), also there are (maybe) two types: 1. that which one pays to get into (similar to lotteries) 2. that which there is no payment to enter into. wallaahu a'lam.
