  As-Salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullaah

There is a common practice amongst the general local masjids in North London (and elsewhere) where they have 2 Jumu'ahs. They say this is to make it easier for those that work and because of the small size of some of the masaajid it is necessary otherwise not everyone will be able to fit in the place. I have heard that this is not permissible and we should only recognise the first Jumu'ah.

Is it possible if somebody could provide a statement oy one of our scholars or something from the Qur'aan and the Sunnah to refute this practice? It is quite important as there are some Salafees that are partaking in this practice.

Jazzak Allaahu khayran

Was-Salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh!
