Salamu alaikum wa rahmatullah; Is anyone aware of when giving someone Shahadah many Muslims have the newcomer sit in front of them, raise the pointing finger of the right hand and repeat the Kalimah Shahadah after them... from where did this practice begin? Abu Na'imah Shamsuddin
