Jazakallahu kulli khair, Eemaan(Faith) By Abu Jameelah Michael Latham: It grows inside of the heart so delicate and pure, Even through the storms of life it continues to endure. It appears to the eye as a pleasure never seen, A radiant and fragrant symbol of the beauty of this deen. The light of the soul provides warmth when it's cold, Maintaining it's beauty even as it grows old. The beauty of it is not how it may physically appear, But what is seen by Allaah as righteous deeds, irrefutable and clear. Determined by intentions, prayer, and implementation, Raising the practitioner to a praiseworthy station. It is not something that comes in a fixed weight nor amount, To give it's true value is beyond measure and range to count. It is the thing that strengthens the weak and reinforces the strong, Pleasing to be felt and sweet enough to taste on the tongue.
