Topic: But rather it is a hazard...!

  This morning after Salaatul Fajr, the pure Salafee, Rabbaanee Shaikh, al-Allaamah, Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzaan - while conducting his regular Monday class from the important book entitled Ad-Daa'u wad Dawaa' (The Illness and the Cure) by Shaikhul Islaam Ibnul Qayyim al-Jawziyyah - was asked a question pertaining to the 'jihaad'  in Palestine. This was after the following aayah was quoted:

 As-Saff (61):11
تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِوَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ بِأَمْوَالِكُمْ وَأَنفُسِكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌلَّكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ

That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam)), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!



The Shaikh may Allaah preserve him said:

This is not Jihaad, but rather this is a mukhaatarah (risk or hazard) without benefit!


May Allaah continue to bless this noble sunnee scholar and bless all of the Ulamaa of this Kingdom who are guiding the people to the correct understanding of the Book of Allaah, the Pure Sunnah with the Understanding of our Salafus Saalih.
