As Salamu alaikum I was told by a brother who lives in detroit that a reliable source told him that Abdul-Mun'im has stated that he will go to Saudi soon to visit the Scholars their and clear his name. Can anyone follow me up on this one? Abu Abdillah Aburahman Al-Hammaam Al-Arabaanee

was salaam This sounds like behaviour typical to hizbiyyeen like 'Abdul-Mun'im. He may try the same diversionary tactics as Abul-Fitan al-Mubtadi' by trying to get other Scholars on his side. What he needs to do is to go and clear himself in front of Shaykh Rabee' and make a public tawbah for his lies and hizbiyyah.
