Salaam Alaikum, Akhi I found this hadeeth in ?100 Ahadeeth About Islamic Manners?, which is compiled by Darussalam?s ?Research Division?. It is one of those books that come in a set and on the front it says ?A gift from the custodian of the two holy mosques?? The hadeeth can be found on page 65: <<Ya?ish bin Tikhfah al-Ghifari reported: My father said was lying down on my belly in the mosque when someone shook me with his foot and said, ?Lying down this way is hated by Allaah.? So I looked up and saw that it was the Messenger of Allaah. >> (Abu Dawood, however it was graded weak by (Shaykh) al-Albaani in Saheeh Abi Dawood and (Shaykh) Muqbil al-Waadi? I also declared it weak) Below the hadeeth, it says the following: Commentary: To sleep in a prone position is extremely repugnant and the Messenger of Allaah has forbidden it. << End of what is written in the book >> And Allaah knows best.
