  Assalaamu Alaikum
      Could someone please anwser this question or ask the the people of knowledge for me if they can not anwser it.
       THE QUESTION IS: Here in prison when the EID approaches we "the inmates" we collect all the money that we can in order to buy food for the Eid festivities. Unfortunately, Masha Allah, some of the ikwan are unable to contribute because of financial restraints. Is it permissible or is it from the adab to only allow the brothers to pray the Eid salat and not allow them to come to the festivities afterwards?
       Insha Allah I need an answer as soon as possible.

  wa salaamu alaikum warahmatullah

akhi you might have heard of this hadeeth:

Narrated by Anas, radhiyallaahu anhu The Prophet said, "None of you will have faith till he wishes for his (Muslim) brother what he likes for himself."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Volume 001, Book 002, Hadith Number 012.

The students of knowledge could correct me if I am wrong, or elaborate inshaAllah.

If I am correct then it is by the success of Allaah, the Most High, and if I am wrong, then from Allaah is forgiveness and mercy. Indeed Allaah is All Hearing, and the Answerer to all calls.

wa salaamu alaikum

  Hamdulillah wa salatu wa salamu ala Rasulullah

Sadaqa is always an excellent gesture, an important chacteristic of Al-Birr [righteousness], is to spend of our sustenance, for the love of Allah Ta'Ala, upon the needy, whose means are restricted. See Suratu Baqara ayat 177, it may help, insha'Allahu Ta'Ala. AND ALLAH KNOWS BEST.

  Salamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh;

I don't know if this is the situation there at your facility, but some prisons allow the inmates to slaughter inside the prison or to have the Emam there slaughter outside for them and bring the meats in. If either of these apply then these words in Suratu Hajj become applicable, Allah, Azza wa Jall, has stated:

"AND MENTION THE NAME OF ALLAH OVER THE BEAST OF CATTLE THAT
HE HAS PROVIDED FOR THEM [FOR SACRIFICE]THEN EAT THEREOF AND FEED THERE WITH THE POOR HAVING A VERY HARD TIME." [ayat 28]

Ali ibn Abu Talib [radiyallahu anhu] said: RASULULLAH [SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALAM] ORDERED ME TO SACRIFICE HIS CAMELS AND  TO GIVE AWAY AS SADAQA THEIR MEAT, HIDE AND ENTAILS, and not to give the butcher any of it.", ["saying: "we shall pay him from us [separately]." {Bukhari, Muslim & others.} Though Bukhari did not have the words "We shall pay him from us."

AND INDEED ALLAH IS THE BEST KNOWER
