assalaamualaikum, Has anyone heard of a brother named Wajdi Ghanee from Florida? He is originally from Egypt. He is presently visiting a couple of masjids in Southern California and gives short lectures after Isha and Fajr prayers. wassalaam, Ifthikar

salam alaikum wa rahmatullah, na'am this man that u speak of, wajdi ghaneem is his name and he's egyptian, he's also a favorite of many egyptians because of the manner in which he lecture,wajdi ghaneem falls into the ranks of abu ishaaq alhuwayni, muhammad hassan,they all have this characteristic of attracting the crowd by giving them a few "inside jokes" to make the people comfortable with them and likeable, this is a common thing in egypt amongst the lectures etc., but i warn u to becareful of this man and the likes of him because he is ikhwaani. and for further information i recommend that u contact the brothers that are in egypt now and ask about his condition, and ALLAAH knows best!!! muhammed an-noobi This message was edited by MuhammedNubi on 1-4-03 @ 12:45 PM
