As a side note, a brother had once advised me to listen to the Muftee's Khutbah at Arafah noting that it was usually really good and the Shaykh is really good at it - so much so that he had been giving the Arafah Khutbah even since the days of Shaykh ibn Baaz (may Allah have mercy upon him).
And it's true. Shaykh ibn Baaz passed away in 1420 H and I just found that Shaykh 'Abdul-'azeez had been giving the Arafah Khutbah since 1402 H! Almost 20 years even before Shaykh ibn Baaz passed away and going to the 30th year.
