In his refutation and clarification the Shaykh quotes many narrations of the salaf with regards to one's dealing with the leaders and those in authority juxtaposing the sayings of the "caller" Mohammad Hassaan, the Egyptian, and Al Halabee's ironic sway of defence for him (Hassaan). And the Shaykh also exposes the treacherous quoting skills of this man (Al Halabee), which he is famous for, taking them out of context and misquoting them. example: the Shaykh - hafidhahullaah - reads from the article of Al Halabee with which he defends Hassaan, where he quotes from the book of Imaam Ibn Muflih. The Shaykh first clarifies that the speech is not of Ibn Muflih as perceived by Al Halabee rather it is the speech of Ibn Al Jawzee quoted by Ibn Muflih - rahimahumullaah - and that too missing a beginning and context altogether to better serve Al Halabee in his defence of his peer Hassaan these days. And the Shaykh towards the end reads Al Halabee's criticism upon salafees who refute Hassaan with regards to his aiding the demonstrations in Egypt - with deception - these days, may Allaah preserve it upon His obedience, by saying that the salafees only hunt for mistakes and they lie in wait for every slip that people like Hassaan make - whom he entitles with "the best of salafee callers" etc - and use such occasions where stances are constrained and limited - meaning they do not miss on such chances to defame people with falsehood. So the Shaykh after reading his ill speech about the salafees, refutes Al Halabee with what he accuses the salafees with itself, where Al Halabee brings the name of our beloved Shaykh, the Father-figure, Ar-Rabee3-us-Sunnah, now and then, these days, in every sitting, meeting and lecture of his, with no occasion or non-occasion!! May Allaah preserve us upon what He loves and is pleased with - Ameen. This is to remind: This Al Halabee sat and benefited from the late Imaam Shaykh Al Muhaddth, Al Albaanee - rahimhullaah - for 25 years! So let us not feel ourselves safe and far above from falling into innovation and misguidance, defending today what we accused yesterday and accuse today what we defended yesterday, for this is complete misguidance. And the refugee is sought with Allaah - Lord of the worlds.
