As sallamu alaykum rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, What are the personal opinions amongst the Muslimah Ummah regarding co-wives breastfeeding one anothers' children and is there any proof that would validate co-wives sharing responsibilities as such? Wa alaykumussalaam wa rahmatullah. I hope you are well... I note that you posted this thread a while back. Anyhow, as you asked for personal opinions, then my thoughts are since the children of one man between his wives are mahrams for each other etc, then the is no further benefit I see of breasteeding a co-wife's child(ren) except that it may be a form helping each other out when one is not able to breastfeed.
