Bismillah wa salatu wa salam ala rasullah wa baıad Asısalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa baraktuh A sister got married to a brother a year ago her mahr was ı2000, after a few months she saw that her husband was not able to give her , her mahr as he was in a few debts so she told him she didnıt want the mahr money and that he can use it towards his debts, a few months ago somebody told her its not permissible and that he had to give her , her mahr if not all at less half of it, so the sister wants to know if this is true or not ? If it is true can she change her mahr. jazak'Allaahu khayr. Umm Sumayah as somaliyah umar used to say remember da hellfire much, for its heat is scorching, its depth bottomless, n its hooked rods r of iron.
