  As salaamu alaykum,

1. Are the supplications after marriage to be said loudly so that the wife will hear them and say Aameen or is it to be said within one's breath?

I'm talking about the following supplications:-
When one of you marries a woman or buys a servant, let him say: ýAllaahumma inni asýaluka khayraha wa khayra ma jabaltaha ýalayhi wa aýoodhu bika min sharriha wa min sharri ma jabaltaha ýalayhi (O Allaah, I ask You for her goodness and the goodness which You have created in her, and I seek refuge with You from her evil and the evil which You have created in her).ýý

ýWhen one of you wants to approach his wife, if he says: ýBismillahi Allaahumma jannibna al-Shaytaan wa jannib al-Shaytaan ma razaqtana (In the name of Allaah, O Allaah, protect us from Shaytaan and protect whatever You give to us from Shaytaan)ý ý then if they are given a child, Shaytaan will not harm it.ý (Reported by al-Bukhaari, Fath, no. 3271)

2. Also when the husband leads his wife in 2 rakah prayer after marriage, are al-Fatiha and another Surah to be recited loudly or silently?

Does anyone know the sayings of the Salaf or the present Ulemaa regarding these?

JazakAllaah khayr,
wa salaamu alaykum,
Sajid
