I have a few questions about riba. We have a situation in our community where a brother here went to jail and left a car with a loan attached to it. There is currently $250 left on it to pay off, but it accrues interest. He cannot pay it off because he is jail. So we were wondering if it would it be a sin or a blessing to pay it off for him. And if someone pays it off can they drive the car, or will the car be haram all together?
