as-salaamu 'alaykum... we here at Masjidul-Muslimeen in Brooklyn, New York will like to invite you all to a one day fundraising event on Saturday, May 21 2005 from 9 am to 5 pm at PS 35, 272 MacDonough street here in Brooklyn. The fundraising will be held in order to aid in obtaining funds to secure a building to be utilized as a masjid. Please stay tuned for more details. we also annouce that Shiekh Ubaid Al Jabaree will be speaking at lectures on the topic of "the importance of tawheed in the life of the muslim" others speakers: Mustafa George *Hasan Somali will not be able to speak due to a family emergency( we ask Allah to ease his affairs, Ameen) inshAllah, Kashif Khan will be taking Hasan's place speaking on the subject of the importance of knowledge in the life of the muslim.
