Questions from the brothers in Slough answered by Sheikh Muhammad Abdulwahhab al-Banna 13/4/03 11 Safar 1424 Masjid Ansaar Sunnah al-Muhamadiyyah, Jeddah Translated by Abdulilah Lahmami Sheikh Muhammad Abdulwahhab al-Banna said: 1. "A man who claims to be salafi and he speaks ill of the people of narrations and the people of the sallaf and he speaks about them and he says statements opposing what the Messenger sallallaahu ?alaihi wa sallam was upon, then he is lying in his claim." 2. Question: A man who claims to be salafi in Aqeedah but he doesn?t give importance to wala and bara (who he befriends and who he frees himself from) Sheikh Muhammad Abdulwahhab al-Banna answers: "This person must distinguish himself, his salafiyyah is deficient no matter what he has reached in his salafi actions but he contacts those who oppose the truth and he befriends them, Allaah mentions, ?You will not find a people who believe in Allaah and the last day befriending those who disobey Allaah and His Messenger, even if they be their own fathers, sons, brothers or next of kin? ? [Soorah Mujadallah:22] So this one is deficient in his salafiyyah?(unclear) so he has opposed salafiyyah in wala and bara. You should bring him proof from the speech of the tabi?een and scholars that one must have bara'a, to be free from those who oppose (the truth) in the aspects of aqeedah" 3. The sheikh was asked about how to deal with those criticizing their salafi brothers in Birmingham? Sheikh Muhammad Abdulwahhab al-Banna "A person who speaks against his salafi brothers in Birmingham might be mislead as someone might say to him that these ones have opposed the Messenger sallalaahu ?alaihi wa sallam, that they have opposed the religion of Islam. And these claims affect many. So first ask them what was their mistake, Oh, they may say Sheikh Rabee? makes takfeer (to say he has disbelieved) of Sayid Qutb! How did he? His tapes and books are available, did you hear him? He (Sheikh Rabee?) has shown the misguidance of Sayid Qutb but did he say he was a disbeliever? So he Sheikh Rabee? mentions Sayid Qutb has statement of Wahdatul Wujood (the unity of Allaah with His creation) and he gives proof and he mentions statements that Sayid says such as Allaah does not speak!! Sayid negates the ?Arsh of Allaah, All of these statements (from Sayid) are in his Zdillaal al Quran?so all this is misguidance but he (Sheikh Rabee?) didn?t say he was a disbeliever. So we do not say so and so is a disbeliever except if the proof is established on him and it became clear to him that this is Kufr (disbelief)?Sayid Qutb says all the Muslims are disbelievers except us and that the rulers are disbelievers and Muhammad Qutb (his brother) came and said the opposite that all of the Muslims are upon guidance except the rulers as they are disbelievers! Whether you be Ash?aree, Maturidee, Mu?tazili, Ikhwaani, Suroori,, Tableeghi all are one!! So if one comes to you reviling then say what is your proof? Did you hear him yourself? His books are available so bring the proof. I have been many time to Birmingham with sheikh Nasr udeen al-Albaani. So (we say) bring the proof Oh my son. Did they oppose the Sunnah and the Quran?" END قال تعالى:{إنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون} قال الشيخ السعدي - رحمه الله - في تفسيره (3/31): " فلا يحرف محرف معنى من معانيه( القرآن ) إلا وقيض الله له من يبين الحق المبين وهذا من أعظم آيات الله ونعمه على عباده المؤمنين".
