Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullah. Does anybody have some guidelines on what to choose when there are some difference of opinion among scholars in some fiqh issues. For example, if we read frm one shaykh on certain fiqh issue it says something but if we read frm another shaykh it says something else. However both sides have proofs. How do WE know which one to choose in such cases while we know that only one of them is right. Are there any guidelines for this? Barakallaahu feekum wa'alaikum assalaam.
