Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah wa salatu wa salaamu 'ala rasulullaah

Amma ba'd

Imam Barbaharee (rahimahullaah) said in point 78 of Sharh-u-Sunnah (point 75 in the Arabic):
quote:
Allah has blessed some people more than others and He has done so with complete Justice

Know that Allaah has given excellence to the servants, some of them over others, in religion and worldly affairs. He has done so justly. It is not to be said that He acts unjustly or shows undue favour. Whoever says that Allah has blessed the Believer and the disbeliever equally is an innovator. Rather, Allah has granted excellence to the Believer over the disbeliever, to the obedient over the sinner and to the innocent over the despicable, doing so justly. It is His Bounty that He grants to whomsoever He pleases and withholds from whomsoever He pleases.

In going over the above point of Sharh-u-Sunnah, with the explanations from Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee (rahimahullaah) and Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzaan (hafidhahullaah), Abu Muhammad read to us the deviant statements of the Mu'tazilah in objection to Allaah favoring some above others:

The Mu'tazila say: It is obligatory upon Allaah to be just between the people and He should give equally.

Shaikh Fawzaan said:
quote:
These are despicable manners, and this is an objection to Allaah's Decree. Allaah is not questioned. He questions us. He says (about Himself): He cannot be questioned as to what He does, while they will be questioned. (Al-Anbiya 21:23)

Also, the Mu'tazila say: It is encumbant upon Allaah to make all the people believers and wealthy and all of them scholars. [Aoodhubillaah!]

Shaikh Fawzaan said:
quote:
No doubt, this is an objection against Allaah, Who is Al-Hakim (All-Wise). It is not from the Wisdom of Allaah to make all the people on the same level. If everyone was rich, then who would sweep, who would collect the trash, work, cook? And, likewise, if everyone is poor, they cannot buy, build anything.

Allaah said (what means): Is it they who would portion out the Mercy of your Lord? It is We Who portion out between them their livelihood in this world, and We raised some of them above others in ranks, so that some may employ others in their work. But the Mercy (Paradise) of your Lord (O Muhammad) is better than the (wealth of this world) which they amass. (Az-Zukhruf 43:32)

Allaah has favored the Muslim over the kaafir [due to disbelief in his (kaafir's) heart], and the obedient over the sinner, and this is from Allaah's Justice.

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
