After the July bombings, I heard this man come on national TV during a news
interview and directly blame the Salafis for the terrorist attacks.
Here is a press release released today from this so-called Muslim Parliament's
head where once again he openly attacks the Salafis. Incidentally, this was
forwarded to a journalist at The Times newspaper:

Dr Ghayasuddin Siddiqui, leader of the Muslim Parliament, has expressed his
sadness over the demise of Dr. Zaki Badawi, Principle of Muslim College, London.
In his statement Dr Siddiqui has said, with the death of Dr Zaki Badawi, Muslim
community has lost a great scholar, teacher and a man of peace and harmony. He
always opposed fundamentalism, extremism and salafism. He will be
greatly missed.
