Bismillaah Assallaamu alaikum Ya akhi abuabdullaah I believe there is a mistake in the date you have posted (Monday 21st October) as I believe and Allaah knows best that this day is actually only 5 or 6 days away from the beginning of Ramadaan. barakAllaahu feekum Abu Mariam al-Atharee

as-salaam-u-alaykum, The original post by Abu Abdillah was made last year, that's why the date is 21st Oct. Br. Moosa brought the post back to our attention as this innovation is just round the corner. This year, it's probably around 11 days earlier, Allahu 'alaam. Hope this helps. lol jazakAllaahu khairan ya aba Hamza barakAllaahu feekum wAllaahul musta'an. My apologies to all concerned and jazakAllaahu khairan to Moosa for bringing it back to our attention. According to the calender I have which is from Masjid as-Sunnah in West London (Cranford) the 15th of Sha'baan is on Saturday 11th October and Allaah knows best. So Ikhwaan wa akhawaat advise your families and others in your midst if indeed they take part in this abomination which they (the ahl-ul-Bid'ah) have attributed to the perfect deen of Allaah.
