Shaykh Yahya Al Hajuri (hafidhahullaah) said:
"Sufism and shirk are spouses."

Shaikh Dr. Saleh as-Saleh (rahimahullah) said:
As for [Sufism's] most important objectives, I'll leave it to a Sufi enthusiast who is well known in the circles of Sufism by the name of Sayyid Hussein Masr who stated the objectives of Sufism to be, and I quote: 'All that we can do is to stress that the Sufi teachings center around two fundamental themes: Wahdatul Wujood and al insan il kamel (the perfect man).'

You know this [deviant Wahdatul Wujood] concept that "existence is all one." And of course, in reality Allaah is High (and separate) above what they attribute to Him.

And al insan il kamel. What is al insan il kamel? In the world of Sufism, and remember we spoke about all these terminologies, this is one of their terminologies. ...[It is] qualified with both the essence (attributes) of Allaah and the essence of creation. ...And the Sufis attribute these qualities to Prophet Muhammad (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam). [They deviantly say he] had both attributes (Divine and man).

Aoodhoobillaah! Both of the Sufi fundamental themes are kufr! These deviant beliefs of theirs are in direct opposition to the truth revealed by Allaah, Who said:

And He is the Irresistible, above His slaves. (Al-An'am 6:18)

Do you feel secure that He, Who is over the heaven (Allaah). (Al-Mulk 67:16)

The Most Beneficent (Allaah) Istawa (rose over) the (Mighty) Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). (Ta-Ha 20:5)

As for the Prophet:

The Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said:
"Do not over praise me like the Christians over praised the son of Maryam. Indeed I am a slave of Allaah and His Messenger."

The Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said:
"I am a slave. I eat what a slave eats and sit like a slave sits."

Allaah ('azza wa jall) commanded his Messenger (to tell the people):
Say (O Muhammad, (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam)): "I am only a man like you..."
(Al-Kahf 18:110)

Shaikh Dr. Saleh as-Saleh (rahimahullaah) explained the reality of Sufism - wa lillaah il Hamd - here: The Reality of Sufism

Know, my dear Muslim brothers and sisters, that attributing divine attributes to the creation is yet another example of how the Sufis and others from Ahlul Bid'ah have deviantly chosen to follow the Christians and Jews in 'Aqeedah - just as the Prophet (salallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) said would happen. This is a matter of 'Aqeedah, that which Allaah has made the determining cause of one's Jannah (Paradise) or Jahannam (Hellfire)! Allaahu Musta'aan.

Keep in mind, from these people of bid'ah are the same people whom shaytan deceived into belittling the 'Aqeedah of Tawheed. SubhanAllaah!

Allaah ('azza wa jall) said (what means):
So if they believe in the like of that which you believe, then they are rightly guided, but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allaah will suffice you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
(Al-Baqarah 2:137)

May Allaah save us from all kufr and bid'ah. Allaahumma Ameen!

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
