Topic: is a marriage valid if the woman is married legally but in divorce and marries islamically

	as salaam alakium i want to know if a woman is married legally to a muslim man . but they are going thru the divorce proceddings and because they have kids together the state makes a mandatory waiting period . this of course is in usa .  if she married a diffrent brother islamically is that still valid the islamic marriage contract . or would it be invalidated because of the law of the land proceeds over shariah . and the legal husband was muslim . and then she married a brother just islamically . also the first brother never said talaq . but he did not object to the divorce . any help would be appreciated   jazik Allah khayrn Imam Ibn al-Qayyim :ýThe sign of (a humble heart) is that a person prostrates to his Lord out of respect and humility, and never raises his head until he meets Him.
