Answer to your Question, brother :

Source : Fatawa Islaamiyyah , Volume 5 ,Book of Marriage ,Section- Rulings on marrying Jewish & Christian Women , Pg -292-293 .
Fatwa by Imaam bin Baaz (rahimahullaah).

quote:
If it was asked : Then what is the wisdom behind permitting marriage from the Muhsanaat among the People of the Book for the Muslim men and the prohibition of marrying Muslim women for the men among the People of the Book?

The answer to that - and Allaah knows best - is to say that when the Muslims declared their belief in Allaah & His Messengers, including Musa the son of 'Imran, and 'Isa the son of Mary, peace be upon them, and what was revealed to them including the Tawrah, revealed to Musa and the Injil, revealed to 'Isa when they had believed in all of this, Allaah made the Muhsanaat from among the women of the People of the Book permissible for them, as a Grace and Mercy from Him and of His complete Benevolence towards them.

When the People of the Book disbelieved in Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) and the Mighty Book which was revealed to him , that is, the Qur'an, Allaah forbade for them the women of the Muslims, until such time as they believe in His Prophet and Messenger, Muhammad (sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam),the last of the Prophets and Messengers. So if they believe in him, our women will be permissible for them, and they will have what we have, and what is incumbent upon us will be incumbent upon them.

And Allaah,Most Glorified is the most Just Arbitrator Who sees all of the affairs of His creatures, Who knows best what is right for them and Who is Wise in all things. Exalted, Hallowed and far above the saying of those who are astray, the disbelievers and all of the polytheists.

There is another wisdom, which is that woman is weak and quick to submit to her husband. So, if it was made permissible for the Muslim woman to marry men from among the People of the Book,it would in most cases, lead her to the religion of her husband.Som the wisdom of Allaah,Most Glorified requires that it be forbidden."

And he rahimahullaah also goes on to say for the Muslim Men marrying Jewish & Christian Women -

"But not marrying them (Jewish & Christian Women) and dispensing with them in favor of Muhsanaat from aong the believing women is better and preferable, based upon what was said by the Commander of the Faithful,'Umar bin Al-Khattaab, his son,'Abdullah and a number of the righteous Salaf, may Allaah be pleased with them. And because there is danger in marrying women from the People of the Book, especially in these times, in which ignorance of Islaam has become the norm, and the number of the righteous men with understanding of the religion has decreased, and predilection towards women and listening to them and displaying obedience to them in all things has increased - except as Allaah wills.

So, it is feared for the husband that his Jewish and Christian wife may draw him towards her religion and morals, as it is feared for their children. And Allaah is the One from whom we ask for help."

wassalaamu 'alaykum

Shaykh Al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah stated, "There is no blame on the one who openly manifests the math-hab of the Salaf, ascribes himself to it, and takes honour in it. Rather, that must be accepted from him due to the agreement (of the scholars). For verily the math-hab of the Salaf is nothing but Truth..." [Majmoo' Al-Fataawaa, 4/149]

Guidance from Allah Ta'Ala -

"They [i.e. Muslim women]are not lawful [wives] for the disbelievers nor are the disbelievers lawful [husbands] for them."
Surah Mumtahanah ayat 10

"Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you [O Muhammad - sallallahu alaihi was sallam] till you follow their religion."
Surah Baqara ayat 120

and Allah knows best.
