Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah And there occurs from An-Nisaa'ee (d. 303H) in al-Yawm wal-Laylah, from the hadeeth of two men from amongst the companions, from the Prophet (salallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam):
Saheeh: The hadeeth is mentioned by Ibn Rajab in Kalimatul-Ikhlaas (p. 61) and refer to al-Jaami'ul-Kabeer (1/477/2). The translation of the underlined portion is: there is no deity worthy of worship in truth except Allaah alone, He has no associates (partners), the dominion is for Him, and the praise for Him, and He is capable of all things. ________________________________________________________________________________________ For more on the statement of Laa illaaha ilallaah and its true meaning and conditions, read the links below: The Meaning and Conditions of Laa illaaha ilallaah The True Meaning of The Statement of Tawheed The preferance of La illaaha ilAllaah Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
