Sa'dee on the Rectification of the Heart. From the benfits of Shaykh Al-sa'dee The Heart's Rectitude The heart's rectitude is found in completely returning back to Allaah along with strong dependance upon Him. And perfect sincerity toward Him, and loving good for the rest of the creation. And the corruption of the heart and its deficiency is in the opposite of these qualities. And this is the meaning of the statement of the Prophet ýýý ýýýý ýýýý ýýýý ýVerily, in the body is a morsel of flesh, were it to be upright, then the whole body would be upright and were it to be corrupt then the whole body would corrupt. Verily, it is the heart.ý And the reality of that is that Allaah makes faith beloved to the servant and He beautifies it in his heart. And He makes disbelief and sin hated to hih and thus makes him of those that follow the right path; so this is the rectitude of ones inner and outer and the opposite is (achieved) by the opposite (actions).
