Excerpt:
quote:
'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (radiallaahu 'anhumma) said: When someone enters a vacant home, he should say:
quote:
As-Salamu 'Alayna wa 'Ala 'Ibad-Allah-is-Saliheen (Peace be upon us and on the righteous salves of Allah.)

Collected by Bukhari in Adabul Mufrad [1055] Graded as being Hasan by Ibn Hajr and Al-Albani (rahimahumullaah)

Shaikh Al-Albani (rahimahullaah) said:
quote:
This narration establishes an Islamic regulation for entering a vacant house. This practice coincides with the order of spreading salaams found in some authentic hadeeth. Furthermore, this hadeeth agrees with the verse: When you enter your houses, greet one another with: As-Salamu Alaikum...[An-Nur 61]

Translated by Abu Aaliyah Abdullah ibn Dwight Battle

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
