This narration will clearly show us the true understanding that Allaah blessed our salaf with. Narrated Imaam Ahmad (Rahmatullaahi Alaihi) Abdur Rahmaan ibn Jubair ibn Nufayr from his father that he said; When Cyprus was conquered, and the people were split up (The kuffaar) and were crying for one another, I saw Abu Dardaa sitting by himself crying. I said to him; O abu Dardaa! what has made you cry in this day that Allaah has given Islaam and it's people strength? so he said; Woe to you O Jubair! How weak the creation is with regards to Allaah the Mighty and Majestic when they neglect and turn away from Allaah's order,affair! They were a nation with clear might and strength and had the dominion. They left the order of Allaah so they have become what you see. Take heed O people of Understanding!!!
