Bismillaahi wal hamdulillaahi was salaatu was salaamu alaa rasoolillaahi ammaa ba'd. As salafis trying to revive the sunnah of the messenger (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam), that which the people have left either by way of Bid'ah, lack of study, forgetfulness. laziness or just plain turning away from it! sheikh Baazmool (hafidhahullaah) brings in his book (salaatu at-Tatawwu) a short chapter with the title ' The sallaah for entering and leaving the house' and says; It is legislated for the muslim that he prays two rak'ahs if he enters his house or leaves it. Naraated abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu anhu wa ardaa) that the peophet (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) said; If you enter your house then pray two rak'ahs, they will prevent you from a bad, evil entering. and if you leave from your house then pray two rak'ahs, they will prevent you from leaving in bad, evil. Reported by al Bazzaar, Hasan, Ibn Hajr also declares it Hasan as mentioned by Manaawi in (Fayd alQadeer) and al Albaani declared it Jayyid in silsila.
