The Best Day of the Week to Travel Thursday كَعْبَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ لَقَلَّمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْرُجُ إِذَا خَرَجَ فِي سَفَرٍ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْخَمِيسِ Kżab ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "It was rare that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would set out to travel on any other day than Thursday." However for Hajj he left on Saturday. As salamu 'alaykum akhi, Who is Shaykh Khalil As-Saharnafuri (may Allah have mercy on him)? His name is quite similar to the Devbandi scholar named Khaleel Ahmed as-Saharanpuri who wrote their book of aqeedah "Al Muhannad alal Mufannad" which was endorsed by many other Deobandi Scholars.
