As-salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakuhu: Does anyone have any information on the prohibition of disposing of paperwork with the name of Allah on it. My concern is that I receive paperwork and mail with my last name Hamidullah. Also, I have accumulated over the years magazines and articles which have the name of Allah in them. I seem to remember a suggestion about burying or burning such paperwork years ago. However, I don't know if this was an established sunnah. Does anyone have any daleel on this?
