Topic: Differences in salaah for men and women

  Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah.

My question is based on the prayer. I have come across varying beliefs that women must pray differently from men. Can you please clarify these points....

What are the differences when praying for men and women?
Do the women have to place their right leg under the left while in sujood? ie. not letting their knees touch the ground properly or their toes facing the qiblah.
Are there differences in sajdah for men and women?
Do women have to keep their feet strictly together while standing in prayer?

JazakALLAHu Khayr.

Wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh ukhti,

There are no differences between the way men and women pray. This is brought out by Shaykh Albaanee rahimahullaah in his book The Prophet's Prayer. Please refer that for further details. You can purchase it from http://salafibookstore.com/sbs/index.cfm?scn=books&ProductID=B233&do=detail&book=

It can be downloaded for free from http://www.hmcc-uk.org/files/The%20Prophets%20Prayer%20Described%20-%20Shaykh%20Albani.pdf

The abridged book can be bought from http://salafibookstore.com/sbs/index.cfm?scn=books&ProductID=B341&do=detail&book=

Wa iyaakum.
