I have two questions inshaAllah:

1.) When should I break my fast if I am flying from one city to another ( about 1h40min's flight )and the time for iftaar comes in for the city I am departing from and the city I'll be arriving in.Which city's time do I take as Iftaar ?

2.)My wife is 8 months pregnant, Alhamdulillah. We know that the rukhsa for a pregnant woman exists but if she is able to fast can she? Some doctors say she should fast and some say not. What is the correct opinion according to the Quraan/Sunnah / Salaf / ulema?

Could some of the tullaabul -'ilm provide some insight into this or pose the questions to the 'ulema?

JazakumAllaahu khairan
As-salaamu 'alaikum

When to break the fast whilst in flight

Question: What is the time for breaking the fast in Ramadhaan whilst in flight?

Response: If someone is on board an aircraft during the day in Ramadhaan and he is fasting and wishes to continue his fast until sunset, then it is not permissible for him to break his fast until the sun has set (according to where the aircraft is in the sky).

And with Allaah lies all the success, and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet Muhammad (sal-Allaahu `alayhe wa sallam) and his family and his companions.
