As salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu, A muslim woman made hijrah to a muslim land away from the land of the kufaar and her disbelieving family who work against Islam. Knowing that her family has rights (1st her mother and so on), how should she deal with her family in America in a way that is not breaking ties and is pleasing to Allah, insha Allah? Wa alaikum as salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuhu Al-Fudayl ibn Iyyad (Rahimahullaah) said: "Man's fear of Allaah is equal to his Knowledge of Him and his renunciation of worldly pleasures is equal to his desire in the Hereafter."
