bismillahirahmaniraheem, assalamu alaikum wa rahmattullah, wal hamdu lellah i was asked to pose this question to you all by my husband, jazakallahu khayr for any responses with adillah, and please keep me and my family in your du'aas for surely Allah is the disposer of our affairs and the doer of what He wills, may He grant us mercy and success in this life and the next and make us of the muhsineen, Ameen. question: i am a muslim who is incarcerated approximately 200 miles away from my home, Allah knows best the length of time(i was sentenced 1-2 years), due to my situation, do i shorten my prayers(i.e. make the qasr prayer) or continue the salawaat as normal?
