AsSalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah... To anyone who may know the answer to the following: What is the ruling on muslim women who have long hair pinning it up in the back of their head (as opposed to the top) so as to facilitate their commings and goings throughout the day? Is their case the same as the women mentioned in the hadith of the messenger of Allah (sallallahu Alayhe wa salaam) wherin he sates: Hadith - Sahih Muslim, #6840, Narrated Abu Hurayrah Allah's Apostle (sallallahu Alayhe wa salaam)said: There are two types, amongst the denizens of Hell, I have yet not seen them. One possessing whips like the tail of an ox and they flog people with them. (The second one) the women who would be naked in spite of their being dressed, who are seduced (to wrong paths) and seduce others with their hair high like humps. These women would not get into Paradise and they would not perceive the odour of Paradise, although its fragrance can be perceived from such and such distance (from great distance). Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
